Scenic Europe Machine Embroidery Design Instructions
I added to the right hand side of the photo a little pair of porcelain clogs, my mother brought back from one of her trips to Europe and was given to me when I was very young and that is why I designed this set.
The following designs used in the photo
- Scenic Europe_01
- Scenic Europe_02
- Scenic Europe_03
- Scenic Europe_04
What you will need
Artists Canvas board, you can purchase the canvas board from an art shop or a $2.00 shop
4 print outs in actual size showing connectors
1 meter or 1 yard of white cotton fabric
2 layers of medium weight stabilizer for each design as the buildings are rather dense in parts
Print out all four designs in “Actual” size, each design showing connectors
Cut around the design as you can see in the photo
Line all four designs in a row, I use painters tape to hold the print out onto the fabric, so much better than using pins
Mark the centre point in each design in the row
If you look closely at this photo you can see how I marked all four centre points of each design onto the fabric.
Centre your hoop with your markings.
I stitched the row of 4 buildings on 2 layers of white cotton fabric, so when you place the design on a board or wish to frame the work, you cannot see any trace of your stabilizer.
This photo shows you the type of canvas board I used to for the wall hanging.
