Vintage Charm Machine Embroidery Design Instructions
Vintage Charm Wall Hanging
This canvas board is 40 x 20 cm or 16 x 8 inches.
If you are stitching this design set out using a 5 x 7 inch or 180 x 130mm hoop, stitch out “Vintage_11” first then stitch out “Vintage_12”.
I bought the two fabrics from Reece Scanell reacescannell.com. It is worth while taking a look at his site as he has such amazing fabrics.
The two fabrics I used are 48A – Dark Asteroid and 46A – Light Asteroid.
If you decide to use a braid like I have, staple the design to the back of the canvas, then glue the braid carefully over the two joining fabrics.
Vintage Charm Cushion
If stitching this design set out using a 5 x 7 inch or 180 x 130mm hoop, stitch out “Vintage_01” then repeat and mirror “Vintage_01” below.
Vintage Charm Computer Monitor Cover
I made this computer cover like a cushion. I however left out the cushion insert.
- Stitch the centre first using “Vintage_26_240x150”
- Stitch to the left of the centre “Vintage”, “Vintage_29_240x150
- Stitch and mirrored to the right of the centre “Vintage”, “Vintage_29_240x150
This is a nice way of showing off your embroidery and looks so much nicer than a black computer screen in your home. This would make a wonder gift for family or friends at Christmas. I hot glued the braid onto the cover as the computer cover would not get wear and tear like a cushion.
I attached Velcro to the back of the computer cover then hot glued the other portion of the Velcro to the back of the computer screen

Vintage Charm Jumper
I stitched “Vintage_13” on the Jumper 3 times.
Vintage Charm Notepad
I purchased the notebook from Kikki.K http://www.kikki-k.com/shop/category/products/notebooks-journals/
I stitched “Vintage_16” on the grey felt Notebook.
I purchase many items from Kikki.K as they have a great range of great blank gift items which I find easy to put lovely embroidery designs on.
